I was introduced to this charity in detail by Sara Hart of the Camarilla Club's South West Regional Charity, who I had the pleasure of meeting at Strategicon 08'. This is the info she gave me - followed by the donation instructions.

"Hugs Across America" is a charity that takes the teddy bears that are donated to them online and sends them to hospitals, military, shelters, EMT, firefighters, police officers, and domestic violence centers. These teddy bears are then re-distributed amongst people who need them."
